He just can’t seem to say no to anyone, and he’s always helping people out.

That goes double for his family, and that’s where OP starts to run into some friction.
They Want Her Money
Early in their relationship, the husband’s family started asking OP for money once they realized she was well-off.
She Wanted It in Writing
OP was used to that sort of thing and proposed that she could loan some of them some money, but she wanted to make it legit.
She asked them to sign a contract, have it notarized – the whole nine yards.
They Walked All Over Him
That caused most of the moochers to back off, but they just turned to OP’s husband instead.
And, since he couldn’t say no to them, he gave them what he could.
It Was His Money to Waste
OP was exasperated by the financial bleeding, so she made her husband a deal.
She would pay for all of their living expenses, and he could do whatever he wanted with his income since they didn’t need it, anyway.

And so now, OP’s husband spends almost all his money on his family.
OP doesn’t love it, but she can live with it.
First Class All the Way
Recently, though, OP and her family were going back to her husband’s town for a family gathering.
She booked 5 first-class tickets for the flight, one each for her and her husband, the kids, and their nanny.
She Was Riding With Them
But when they arrived at the airport, OP was shocked to see her sister-in-law there.
Not only that, she was on the same flight as they were.
She Wanted an Upgrade
OP smelled something fishy, and sure enough, her sister-in-law asked her to upgrade her ticket to first-class.

OP flatly refused, but her sister-in-law wasn’t done.
She wanted OP to let her switch tickets with the nanny.

OP herself has severe flying sickness, and the medications she takes to combat that pretty much knock her out. She didn’t want to leave her husband alone to take care of the kids during the flight.

The sister-in-law threw a fit right there in the airport, so OP just walked off to get away from her.

Several minutes later, OP’s husband caught up with her and told her that he had tried to upgrade his sister’s ticket, but first-class was full.
So he was going to switch seats with his sister.
