A TikTok video is going viral, showing an aspiring rapper named Lizzy Ashliegh from Brooklyn, NYC, confronting a man who allegedly pulled off her green wig while passing by on a city street.
In the trending clip, which has garnered over 437,000 views, an outraged Ashliegh can be heard yelling, “Sir! For what reason?!” just moments after the incident took place.

Ashliegh took to the closed caption of the TikTok post to express her disbelief, stating, “This man just took off my wig and kept on walking. There’s demons in NY, I swear.”
The video captures Ashliegh, still clutching her green curly wig in her hand, questioning the man about his actions.
A Quest for Answers
As Ashliegh angrily demands an explanation, the man, who appears to wear a smug grin, tries to avoid her inquiries.
She questions his motives, asking, “What made you think that was the good thing to do? Why’d you do that? What makes you think that that’s OK? It’s not funny.”
And, “Do you hate women or something?”
In the video, the man’s friends can be seen attempting to persuade him to apologise, but he refuses to acknowledge the offence, repeatedly asking, “For what?”
TikTok Were Shocked by the Incident
TikTok users were appalled by the suspect’s lack of remorse.
Concerned commenters expressed their disbelief.
Viewers urged Ashliegh to press charges, highlighting the severity of the assault and the need for an apology.
Some suggested reporting the incident to the man’s employer, filing a complaint with the New York City bar association, and pursuing legal action for damages.
One user stated, “File a bar complaint. Press charges and make him pay for the medications also!!”
What Happened Next Is so Sad
In a follow-up post, Ashliegh revealed that the wig was attached to her real hair using stabilising combs sewn into the headpiece.
As a result, when the wig was forcefully yanked off, it caused trauma to her neck and pulled out her natural strands.
She reported the incident to the police and sought medical attention, with her doctor prescribing a muscle relaxer for the pain in her neck area.
Outraged social media users continue to support Ashliegh, urging her to take further action against her alleged attacker.
One argued, “He’ll lose his job, as he should! I’m so sorry he did this to you.”
