Hollywood Halloween Horror – Actors Union Pulls the Plug on Spooky Celebrations for Striking Stars in Bold Industry Boycott!

Hollywood actors on strike have had their Halloween canceled by the union, who are urging them not to dress up as or “Promote” Hollywood characters on October 31st, without being paid a fair contract to do so.

As the strike by members of the Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (Sag-Aftra) continues into its 100th day, actors have been issued a unique request: ditch the famous film and TV character costumes this Halloween.

Sag-Aftra has called on its striking members to abstain from dressing up as well-known film and TV characters.

The group specifically noted popular Halloween themes this year, citing iconic figures like Barbie, Marvel superheroes, and Netflix’s Wednesday Addams due to the release of this year’s popular film and series releases.

Instead, they are encouraged to opt for “generalized characters and figures” like ghosts, zombies, and spiders.

A spokesperson for Sag-Aftra said, “Let’s use our collective power to send a loud and clear message to our struck employers that we will not promote their content without a fair contract.”

The union’s guidance extended to social media, advising members not to share Hollywood-related costumes online.
